Endodontic Assistant
Job Description Position Overview: Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Endodontic Dental Assistant to join a specialized dental team providing support during root canal treatments and related procedures.
Key Duties: Prepare treatment rooms with required instruments and sterilized equipment, including 3D scanners and medical imaging tools.
Chairside Support: Assist endodontists chairside by managing instruments, suctioning, and ensuring patient comfort throughout endodontic care.
Imaging & Documentation: Take and develop dental X-rays, maintain accurate medical documentation in Denticon EMR system, and adhere to HIPAA standards.
Patient Education & Flow: Educate patients on procedures and post-operative care, manage patient flow, and assist with front desk reception duties when needed.
Sterilization & Safety: Process dental instruments following strict infection control and sterilization standards, adhering to aseptic techniques.
Cross-Specialty Support: Assist with additional clinical tasks including taking impressions for prosthodontics or supporting pediatric dentistry cases as necessary.
part-time $25 - $31 per hour
Pay is based on experience.
Shift & SchedulePart-time position working 8 hours per week.
